Char Dham Yatra

Itinerary:

Day 1: Haridwar – Barkot

This morning we will pick you up from Haridwar and depart for Barkot which is the nearest point for Yamunotri. The rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at Barkot. 

Day 2: Barkot– Yamunotri – Barkot

After breakfast, depart for Janki Chatti where you have to trek for 6 km to reach Yamunotri Dham. You can hire a Doli or a horse for your trek (Cost Not Included).  Yamunotri is the first temple in the Char Dhams circuit and devotees visit here to take blessing of Yamuna Mata. On arrival by afternoon in Yamunotri, take a holy dip in Yamuna River, perform pooja and take the same route back to Barkot. Overnight stay at Barkot. 

Day 3: Barkot – Uttarkashi

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and we will drive you to Uttarkashi. Uttarkashi is a beautiful city situated on the banks of river Bhagirathi and is famous for its historical monuments, temples & ashrams. Dinner and Overnight stay at Uttarkashi. 

Day 4: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi

Early morning after breakfast at your hotel we will drive to Gangotri. Ganga Mata, the much revered deity of Hindus, originates from the Gangotri glacier at Gaumukh which is some 18 km from the Gangotri town. It holds a lot of importance so take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges and pray in the Gangotri Temple. After performing Pooja, we will drive you back to Uttarkashi. Dinner & Overnight stay at Uttarkashi. 

Day 5: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi

Check out from the hotel and drive to Guptkashi. After a tiring journey, relax in your hotel or visit the town on your own. Dinner and overnight stay in Guptkashi hotel/camp.  

Day 6: Guptkashi – Sonprayag – Kedarnath

Early morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and we will drive to Sonprayag. From there, you will begin your long trek to Kedarnath. There are options of Doli or horse for your trek depending upon your convenience. You can do pooja in the shrine on arrival and rest at Govt.Camps/Lodges. 

Day 7: Kedarnath – Sonprayag – Guptkashi/Rudraprayag

Early morning, get up before dawn, take bath and visit temple to see the Abhishek of Kedarnath Shiva. After darshan and puja, you can return to the camps / lodges and collect your belongings. Later you need to do the return trek from Kedarnath to Sonprayag. The vehicles will wait for you in Sonprayag car parking to depart to your hotel in Guptkashi/Rudraprayag.

Day 8: Rudraprayag / Guptkashi – Joshimath – Badrinath

This morning, do an early check out since we will drive you to Badrinath via Joshimath. On arrival check into the hotel and you are free to visit Badrinath Temple for darshan in the evening. Before visiting the temple you are advised to take bath in taptkund. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. 

Day 9: Badrinath – Joshimath – Rudraprayag

Early morning you can do Badrinath darshan. Afternoon, we will drive you back to Rudraprayag. On arrival, check-in at the hotel and rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. 

Day 10: Rudraprayag – Haridwar

After breakfast, we will take you to your drop point in Haridwar.
