Recommendation from Hitch-Hike:

Carry a sweatshirt and shoes for travelling. You can carry an umbrella also in case it rains. Though the temperature is predicted to be be 25 degree in Shimla and 15 degree in Manali but is likely to fall when it rains. So, carry warm clothes when traveling to hills in North-India.

If you need any clothes or shoes to wear for snow, you can get on rent which is easily available.

Happy hitchhiking!
